Paisano Sausage Sandwich
Description: Keystone “Certified Sweet®” Onions, Italian sausage, peppers, sauce and cheese will make you think you're in the old country.
Ingredients:
1 Italian Long Rolls
4 Italian Sausages, Hot or Sweet
3 Keystone “Certified Sweet®” Onions, Sliced
2 Yellow Bell Peppers, Sliced
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
3 Cups Seasoned Red Sauce
1/2 Cup Pepperocini, Chopped
3/4 Cup Romano Cheese, Grated
Preparation: Sauté in oil, onions, peppers and garlic. Warm seasoned red sauce. Grill sausages and rolls. Assembly: Place sausage in roll, add sauce on top with sweet onions and yellow peppers. Garnish with grated Romano cheese and chopped pepperocini.
