Benner, who passed the orchard to his son, Lloyd, in 1959. When Lloyd passed away in 1984, it was natural for Jim and Dave to take over the family farm they had worked on throughout their lives. Over the past 84 years, El Vista has grown to 723 acres on six farms.
BREAM ORCHARDS

His son, John Bream Jr., ran the farm for many years, and turned it over to his three sons in 1991. The Bream Brothers farm more than 500 acres at the present time.
BEAR MOUNTAIN ORCHARDS

He passed the operation to his son, John, and daughter, Sheila, in 1985. A new packing facility and new pack line were installed in 1997 and they now farm 600 acres of fruit.

Lee continues to farm the more-desirable acreage from the original farm but is better known throughout the area as a quality packer for more than 20 smaller growers who do not have their own packing operation.
